It also comes with 3 full front Surface Shield covers and the tools to put them on. The plastic shields have earpiece and home button holes cut into them. They protect the front without interfering with the touch screen. Conclusion: This is a good silicone iPhone 3G Jacket. It has a good form factor, a reasonable price and useful accessories. eBooks are sold in Apple’s App Store via two main channels. First, an ebook sold as an individual App (the short form of “application”). It has its own application icon on the iPhone screen. Alternatively, some ebooks are sold through ebook reader applications. Buyers have to login into the particular reader in order to find the ebook to buy.
For selling an ebook as an App via App Store, Apple gives out 70% (fixed) of the revenue to the publisher. For an ebook selling at $9.99, the publisher gets $6.99 for each copy sold.
The revenue sharing ratios of selling-via-ebook-readers vary. They can be 50% (or less). Some writers and authors rely on those ebook readers to publish their books because they can leave the format conversion and programming works to the ebook readers’ developers. Their books will not appear in the App Store but in the ebook readers’ web pages. If an iPhone user has not installed the ebook reader, he/she will no notice the existence of the published ebook.
The format conversion and programming works deter a large number of authors from the first option though it gives significantly higher return.

When i play my dvds through the speakers all of the speakers work (FL,FR,C,RL,RR) including the subwoofer but when i plug my laptop, iPod or iPhone into it and change the portable function but only the FL,FR and subwoofer work!!!

yes, its normal, you have a 5.1 system and your music/computer run on a 2.1 system. thus using only 2 speakers. you could probably configure it to use all 5 speakers but without knowing what brand and model its hard to figure out

The Motorola Milestone – A New Contender?
The initial impression made when you open the box of the Motorola Milestone may not be one of ‘behold a thing of beauty’. The new breed of smartphones has left most of us with an expectation that functionality now comes with an eye pleasing quality of design and good looks. So in this Motorola Milestone review please note that when I viewed this phone for the first time I felt there was a lack of coherent good looks and chic design elements. That is not to say, however, that it is ugly just that, perhaps, we have all grown used to a certain ‘look’ that this phone has not achieved.
Whether it be the out-dated angles or the bronze accentuations or even that strange little lip at the bottom, it just seems to be coming from an era that has passed, but not yet passed into retro nostalgia. Mercifully the internal functioning and features are not out-dated or nostalgic.
This phone utilises Google’s Android operating system which makes it customisable by downloading apps from Android market. It has internet connectivity via 3G or Wi-Fi both seem to be reasonably fast and reliable. The screen is a 3.7 inch touchscreen and watching video or live streaming TV proved to be no problem and the clarity of the display is good. The touchscreen itself has the ability to perceive two fingers at the same time allowing the, now classic, pinching movement used with the iphone, to zoom in and out. Its touchscreen keypad works in both screen orientations, possibly it seems a little squished when held vertically but as the keys vibrate when touched, the positive feedback loop created makes typing easy enough and mistakes can be picked up as you type rather than laboriously editing after typing. There is a slide out qwerty keyboard but as the keys are flat there is no positive feedback when typing and as such the on screen keypad, once you are used to it, is a much faster and more pleasing option for typing.
The phone comes with two very useful pre-loaded apps. One is the Phone Portal; this uses Wi-Fi to connect to your computer, allowing the complete contents of the phone to be instantly accessible from the PC. From images and battery life to your call history, although it seemed that dragging and dropping music wasn’t possible using this connection. This was achieved by connecting the docking station to my PC. The other app is called My Sign and although simple in idea, actually very intuitive and useful. This allows you to open functions by drawing with your finger the first letter of the function title, F for Facebook and W for web browser etc.
The 5 megapixel camera is adequate enough and there is a dual LED flash for shooting in dark conditions. The camera also has a few pre-sets for various conditions like ‘beach and snow’ making its functionality more like a digital camera than a phone camera.
The dock doubles up as a connection to your computer and a charging station, and as a nice little touch, when charging it turns the phone screen into an alarm clock and displays local weather conditions.

I just got a new iphone from att on the 3g network. I read the manual it came with but it was absolutely NO help.I would love if someone could give my some tips. Things klike when I go to the app store and get ready to make a purchase it asks for my account # and password. I don’t know what to put. Also the itunes store , my dad got me an itunes gift card and I am anxious to add some music to my phone but I don’t know how. You must have an iTunes store account. And there will iTunes account ID and the password.
Once you create iTunes account , you will able to download content from iTunes.
For weather, tap it and then tap on “i” sign on bottom right and then tap on + sign and search your city.
You can also install an app weather channel then it will itself search you location.
For songs you should download from iTunes. If you want some free ones then download and app iDownload from iTunes App store.
Then open it, then type http://seeqpod.com then search for any songs it will play and give you an option to download. So you can download unlimited number of songs right on iPhone for free.
Once you download , you can send to your computer by pressing share button and then add them to iTunes library.
If you have a music video and not sure if the format is supported then go to this site and upload it. It will be sent to your iPhone in right format so no worried about format.
