Miyazaki Hayao takes iPad as rubbish
Nowadays, playing an Ipad wherever you go is very popular. Many young people are eager to get an iPad. But for Miyazaki Hayao, iPad is just nothing but rubbish. The Japanese animation master Miyazaki Hayao made some bitter remarks about iPad, causing a heated debate.
First of all, you must know which kind of person Miyazaki Hayao is. He is named as Akira Kurosawa in the animation world. He has a very important status which nobody can replace in the animation industry. His animation works are as popular as those produced by Disney and Dreamworks. Though the theme of each animation is different, they all include the themes of dream, environment protection, life and survival. His dedication not only makes the whole world respect him and his works but also makes the king of animation world Disney compete for the distribution copyright in the United Sites market. That is a great success for a weak Japanese cartoonist.
So, Miyazaki Hayao is the Miyazaki. I guess you know who he is now. What about Ipad? Though, I think most of people know it, I am willing to introduce it to you again. It is released firstly on 27th, 2010 by Steve jobs, the CEO of apples. iPad is positioned between iPhones and Apple’s personal notebook computer products. As the same as the iPhone’ layout, there are only four buttons in its body. It is simple but powerful. You can use iPad to surf the internet, send and receive email, view e-books, play audio or video. This smart machine has been a hot issue in the digital market.
I have talked too much, seems off the point. Lol. Let me get down to business. What I want to say is that the great animation master Miyazaki Hayao dislike iPad.
In the interview If I Have Paper and pencil in the magazine Hot Air, Miyazaki Hayao made a critical remark about the hot rush of iPad. Hot Air Miyazaki Hayao’s own animation production company Studio Ghibli’ free monthly magazine. He says that he has no interest in the machine and he dislikes scenes that people playing the iPad in the streets or in the subway. And there are so many guys rushing to purchase a I series production, just like in the 1960s, everyone is holding a cassette tape collection to show off. He ridicules the new iPad.
When the reporters mentioned than people can get the information they want with the help of the iPad wherever they go, Miyazaki Hayao replied, “The things which everyone can get easily are not valuable, only the things that you can own yourself can be useful. So, the master is the master. He also suggests that people should work hard instead of depending on the modern machine. Finally, he strong recommends:” People should try to become a producer, not a consumer.”
Different people has different views on Miyazaki’ remarks. Some people think he should not insult the iPad users because he has not used the machine. But some more guys think what he talks are right. We should have more power of creativity and innovation. So, I absolutely agree with the second idea because I have no iPad. Lol.
