Steve Jobs emphasized the use of iPad to read books, news and magazines, but an LCD screen can’t really compete with e-ink technology. However, the ePub format chosen to be, is not exactly as portable and popular as PDF or Doc. Another aspect related to written text is the virtual keyboard.
