iPhone 4 4.0.1 update issue!?
I tried updating my iPhone 4 to the 4.0.1 update and I got an error message 9. Apple explained that Error 9: “This error occurs when the device unexpectedly drops off of the USB bus and communication stops. This can occur if the device is manually disconnected during the restore process. This issue can be resolved by performing USB isolation troubleshooting, using a different USB dock connector cable, trying another USB port, restoring on another computer, or by eliminating conflicts from third-party security software” I’ve tried fixing the timing issue with my USB and the anti virus and nothing works!! Can anyone please help me with this!! I’ve been working on this for 5 hours now and obviously I cannot call Apple support because it’s like 2 in the morning….
I have already tried to restore my iPhone 4 and all I get is Error 9 which is explained above. Ah PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!
if u cannot get to the update and delete it on your phone… you can restore your phone to new and then re download it .. just a suggestion.. not a FUR SURE answer . im not even sure if u could restore an iphone
