greenpois0n help? DFU mode?
I’m trying to jailbreak my ipod touch 4g using greenpois0n. But when I put it in DFU mode, windows is trying to look for drivers and fails to install. I also have tried it with my iPhone 3GS and the same result. I’m currently using Windows 7 x64. I don’t know if it just doesn’t work in Windows 7 or if I’m doing something wrong. Can anyone help me out?
ok. Had the problem, here’s what you need to do:
1 – Exit Greenpois0n
2 – Be sure device is plugged in and turned off
3 – Be sure you have the latest iTunes installed
4 – Instead of running Greenpois0n, put your device in DFU mode. Windows will then look for and install the necessary drivers for DFU mode.
5 – Run Greenpois0n as adminstrator
6 – Follow the steps on greenpois0n and you’re good to go
