When is the iphone coming out for Verizon?

i want an iphone but I have Verizon and im not switching to AT&T. I heard rumors that the iphone is coming out for Verizon Wireless in October or November of 2009. I also heard that AT&T and Apple’s contract is up in 2010 and then they might release the iphone for Verizon. Which date is the iphone coming out in?

Have to wait until 2010 when the contract runs out. There was a big meeting with all the carriers last month asking that certain phones not be inclusive with other carriers. This worked and the IPhone will be available with more companies in the middle of 2010.
