if i use mywi on iphone will at&t charge me for anything, such as tethering?
i got this app from cydia and its called mywi, it lets me wifi tether… it said something about additional charges and i was wondering if i would get charged for internet tethering by at&t
AT&T doesn’t support tethering themselves, but that app will turn it into a modem.
If you get it to work, don’t use it as a main source of internet. Even though they advertise the iPhone data plans as unlimited, it is actually capped at 5gb per month. If you are a high data user and go over that often, they can drop you from your service.
