GolfLogix’ #1 Golf GPS App is Now Compatible with the Samsung Jack™ Smartphone
GolfLogix now supports the Samsung Jack™ smartphone offering Windows™ mobile users the most popular golf GPS distance and stat-tracking cell phone based application. GolfLogix gives golfers convenient distances to the front, center and back of the greens as well as layups and major hazards on more than 25,000 golf courses worldwide. Plus golfers have access to GolfLogix’ scoring and pro-level round tracking technology, allowing them to analyze and compare round data such as fairways hit, greens in regulation, distances of each club and more right on their Samsung Jack phones or on a personalized website hosted by GolfLogix. A unique feature of the GolfLogix app is that it is fully customizable. Golfers can turn on or off various stat tracking features or simply choose to use the app as a GPS standalone device allowing them to get continual distances without ever having to press a button.
As with all of its smartphone applications, GolfLogix is offering a free trial to allow golfers to download the application to their phones and try it for a round. After the 24-hour trial period, golfers are invited to become a GolfLogix Champion member for $39.95 per year. Membership includes access to more than 25,000 golf course maps worldwide, a personalized statistic tracking website, distance information on every round, automatic score tracking, club data, accessory discounts, software and map data upgrades, and more. Plus, members receive all application upgrades and can transfer memberships to new compatible phones at no extra charge.
Currently, GolfLogix can be downloaded to more than a dozen GPS-enabled phones including the iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS, BlackBerry Curve™, BlackBerry Bold™, BlackBerry Tour™ and BlackBerry Storm™, HTC Touch Pro, Motorola Droid™, Motorola Backflip™, Nexus One™, and Droid™ Eris. GolfLogix is introducing new phones monthly and continues to upgrade their software. “Our focus is strictly on golf and providing the widest selection of compatible phones to our customers,” states Pete Charleston, president of GolfLogix, Inc. The Samsung Jack is the second Windows Mobile application phone that GolfLogix is supporting with the HTC Touch Pro being the first. “We will continue to develop on multiple platforms and allow users to easily switch their application when they upgrade their phones,” adds Charleston.
GolfLogix golf application can be downloaded directly from golfgps.com or is available in a convenient boxed gift set for Father’s Day.
