What language do iPhone applications use?
Want to develop iPhone apps, and was curious as to what language (XML, etc.) the iPhone uses for its apps?
primarily iPhone applications are developed using Objective C language, like most of the Mac applications.
Apple has released versions of iPhone SDK by which providing the API’s and Simulator . and applications developed using above SDK can be published to the official AppStore.
secondarily, for jailbroken phones there are multiple languages support like Java , Python etc. those runtimes / environments can be installed using Cydia installers.
