how do I get a layout on my ipod touch homepage?
Instead of looking at my applications with the plain black layout, how do I get some kind of cool design or photo as the background/layout?
You would have to jailbreak the iPod touch (which has to be a first generation as the second one that came out this september cannot be jail broken yet). Using programs such as PwnageTool or QuickPwn. Then with Cydia you download an application called Winterboard.
Winterboard will allow you to download themes, change backgrounds, change the icons, the dock graphic, as well as other graphic interfaces such as the battery charge icon. And Cydia will have a list of themes that can be downloaded and installed. Without downloading a theme you can still change your back ground.
