iPod Classic battery?
I bought a 4th generation iPod about 3 years ago. I loved it. And all was fine until exactly 1 year later when the battery just gave out. I bought about 3 replacement batteries since, each lasting around 4 months. The latest gave out after a week so I think it’s finally time to give up on it =[
I know MANY people who’ve had the same problem with the 4th generation iPods but the generations before seem to be OK and the 5th generation ones seem to be fine after a year too.
Will the new iPod Classic have the same battery problem? Only I don’t want to save up for ages to buy something expensive that will only last a year. If it does have the same battery thing then is there a good alternative? (I want the 160GB one so another large memory but compact music… thingy) Thanks!
i had the ipod video and the color ipod and the plain old ipod – i never had any problem with a battery in any of them like you are stating.
i now have the classic and so far so good – the battery works great . i think you must have had some sort of electrical problem within your ipod and thats what created the trouble. average life span with average use is 5 years!!
