iPod Touch 2G Jailbreak Using redsn0w?
Hello, everyone.
I own a non-MC serial code iPod Touch 2G. I’ve jailbroken in several times before, but undone it for various reasons. After hearing about iPhone OS 4, multi-tasking, and the fact my iPod is uncompatible, I thought I’d jailbreak it again just for the fun of it. The firmware version is 3.1.2, which to my knowledge, is easily jailbroken.
However, every time I enter DFU mode to begin the actual jailbreaking process, the iPod is unrecognized by redsn0w, despite the fact that iTunes IS able to detect it in recovery mode. I’ve tried this in both Windows XP and OS X 10.6 and I get the same results. I’ve also tried blackra1n in XP, but the program is unable to begin due to “dll issues.” Like I said before, I’ve jailbroken it many times before but I’m absolutely clueless as to what may be behind this. Any help would be appreciated.

well i use blackrain and it is amazing, and very simple. but yet again i have G1 so idk if it will work 4 u
