Can’t open device manager on PC?
Had probs with PC lately stemming from (I’m told) i’net connection dropping out while updating explorer 8. Every time the pc starts up I get an error message ‘ymsgr_tray.exe’. I have an ipod and itunes and when ipod is connected itunes cannot see it. In trying to sort this I have realised I no longer have access to device manager. HELP!!!!
If you set a restore point BEFORE you tried to update to IE8 you could revert back to when your pc was in it’s last good state.
Also, device manager can be disabled in the Registry – something did this this to my laptop a while ago. If you are unfamiliar with RegEdit I suggest you get someone to edit the Registry for you as you could cause more problems.
It will take too long do me to type instructions for you. Hope this is of some help.
