Getting a Sound system in my car..help please!?
I got two quotes for about the same price to put a sound system in my car (1999 BMW 740i). For anyone that knows their audio system which sounds like a better package? I asked this question before but I wrote somethings down wrong.

Basically, I just want the best sounding system and the best bass so tell me what you think.
Your first option is the best option. Simply hard to beat an Alpine for one, you won’t need 2 12 subs to make the Beemer rock and the overall kicker here is the guy mentions the Metra Harness. SMART. Very smart. There will be no hacking on wires and such if you went another route. Although car shops are supposed to know what they are doing and most do, you do not want a (hack job) on your ECM wiring anywhere especially in a beemer. The Beemer wiring harness’s these days and back then are in the thousands. All in all you will be very pleased with the first option.
