Riding on the success of the Ultra Series mobile phones, Samsung has just added a new colour scheme to its U800 collection, the samsung U800 Pink edition.
The Samsung U800 is the slimmer cousin of the Samsung U900 Soul phone but does away with the sliding mechanism in favour of a sleek candy-bar design. In looks is closely resembles the Nokia 6500 Classic with minimalist design and a large display screen but the u800 is unmistakably a Samsung Ultra phone and offers a featured packed line up and a more advanced camera.
To top this the phone also generates finance for charities with £10 from every purchase going to the Breakthrough Breast Cancer Charity.
A very female orintated phone the pink Samsung U800 offers exactly the same great features as the original silver edition with the only change being the new, sassy pink exterior.
The Samsung U800 pink is a mobile phone with great connectivity, including HSDPA, stereo Bluetooth and 3G+ technologies, allowing you to access the internet and make video calls at lightning-fast speeds.
Exquisitely designed and with a high quality brushed metal finish, the Samsung U800 is an ultra thin bar handset that comes in at an amazing 9.9mm in thickness.
You can upload images and games to your mobile phone, and even share them with your contacts. A USB 2.0 port and a slot for microSD memory cards means you can increase the U800′s storage space even further, while a 3-megapixel camera and video/photo sensor captures special moments in vibrant, living colours and also includes a built in flash and autofocus helping you to capture those special moments with the minimum of fuss which, in turn, can be shared through MMS or bluetooth with family and friends.
The Samsung U800 Pink also allows you to listen to the radio, thanks to its FM tuner with RDS system. Coming complete with a host of customisable menus, the U800 from Samsung packs a host of great features into an amazingly compact package.
The pink Samsung U800 has been initially maunched on both Orange and O2 contract deals in the UK, although both networks offer a vast range of tariffs these are set to grow in the near future with further releases onto the other network operators.
There are also plans to make the pink Samsung U800 available as a Pay As You Go mobile phone meaning that consumers will not have to sign up to a lengthy contract deal but instead can simply top up their credit when needed.
The other advantage will be that those who struggle to pass the strict UK network credit checks will be able to buy a Samsung U800 Pink on pay as you go without the checks making this a suitable present for others aswell.
