OMG please urgent phone help!!?
i have the sony walkman w580i phone and it broke and i just got a new one in th email yesterday and i was using it today and it got wet and broke i immdediatly took it apart blow dried it on low and let it air dry all apart i put my sim card in my old phone and am using it now my phone is drying i am afraid to tell me parents bcuz i just got a new one yesterday i know i have the worst luck in the world! please help what should i do??!! i let it sit for about 20 mins and put it all back together and it turned on and everything worked except the screen doesnt come on PLEASE HELP ME!!!!
OK so i work for at&t so i can help you out a little. sounds weird but get some white rice and put it in a bowl or cup put the phone in it without the battery and back cover on it. leave it in there for 2 or 3 days (its best if you leave it in there for a week but i know you need the phone because you have to send the other one back) after a few days take it out and it should work. the rice absorbs the water and it was worked for 90% of the people i told to do it. i dont know if you have ionsurance or not but if you only have the 1 year warranty on it they will not give u a new phone because it has water damage . if you bought the origional phone within 30 days you can still add the insurance and they will take back the water damaged phone.. Please try the rice tho i can almost guarantee it will work….good luck
