How do i sync song on to my sony walkman MP3 player from iTunes ?
I have a sony walkman NWZ-S618F MP3 player, i’m having difficulty sync the songs from iTunes to it. is it possible to do? or have i just wasted my money. Please can someone help me it is driving me mad now
My dad refuses to buy iPods, i thought iTunes was for MP3 player too. i was brought an iTunes gift card by a family member

No itunes is only for syncing with the apple iPod and the sony walkman MUST use sony’s own version the walkman can only playa MP3 and ATRAC format music (sony’s own format).
you have now to try and convert all the songs in itunes from AAC to MP3 (via the advanced menu) then export them then import them into the sony program (Protected AAC files cannot be converted without first illegally removing the copyright protection form them)then once you have the files install the software that came with the walkman its called SOnic Stage.
now you have the walkman you are locked into using the sonic stage much more than you ever were with itunes and the apple ipod.
personally itunes is 100 times better than sonic stage and the ipod is better than the walkman in build quality and ease of use.
this is like changing from petrol car to diesel one don’t expect much to be the same!!
