I understand it’s a good deal. I already use Zune Pass . . . my question is . . . I just want to know how artists get their “cut” if I’m paying $14.99 per month to rent 3,000+ songs?
It is all about the license. The Music companies get paid a percentage of the subscription fees. Now that you get to keep 10 songs a month with Zune, that lowers the price of the subscription to $5. Why anyone would get anything else is beyond me.
