IPod Mini Battery Problems?

I have an ipod mini and it’s three years old.

My first problem is that my ipod only plays for about 3 minutes when not connected to my charger.

2. When the IPod runs out of battery, instead of just shutting off, it shows the apple logo, then it disappears and then the apple logo shows up again. This cycle continues unless I hook it up to the charger. I swear my IPod is like dependent on my charger.

3. When I try to hook my IPod up to the computer to update it, nothing happens. I see the battery charging symbol and it is still. This happens EVERY time I try to sync my IPod.

4. When my Ipod WAS cooperating a while ago, when I removed it from the charger, the battery meter in the corner acted like it was still charging.

Note: When I try to restart my ipod by pressing the menu button and the middle button, the screen goes blank and then it shows the battery charging symbol. It doesn’t show the usual apple logo.

Um… you should really consider getting a new iPod because Apple won’t do anything about that. One thing you could do is try getting the battery replaced. (but I doubt that they still make batteries for the mini, and it’s gonna cost money and you’ll have to pay for shipping too.)

This provides not only time and money saving, but also the ability to turn your broken iPhone into a working, fully functional iPhone once again. Self repair can be carried out on a broken iPhone regardless of whether it is battery fault, communication board problems, or even a screen replacement.

No previous knowledge of iPhone repairs are necessary, as in general, when you purchase your spares, parts and iPhone replacements for your broken iPhone from an online store – providing you choose a quality store – you will be offered the advice, tips and guidelines for carrying out the repair at home, in some cases this is even provided in a step by step guide. A common repair, which is known as one of the most complex and therefore puts people off, is the iPhone screen replacement, however providing you allow yourself sufficient time to complete the repair, and have a clean work area to conduct it in there is no reason why you can´t get your broken iPhone functioning again the same day as you receive the spares.

Many people overlook this mentioned option, and believe that because the iPhone won´t power on, or function in the correct manner that they have to discard the broken iPhone and replace it with a new one at a great expense – when in fact you can save time, money and a lot of inconvenience with having to transfer data, or in a worst case have to recreate the data.

Therefore I would urge you not to be one of these people and gain from a loss in this situation. Regardless of the requirement you can repair the iPhone and in doing so you will see that it is not as great of a technical issue as you may be thinking now. If you are unaware of what the fault is but would like to consider the option of repairing your broken iPhone yourself then many specialists will identify the fault for you at a small fee, allowing you to go on and complete the fixing process. Ipod Video Hard Drive Upgrade

Ipod – a Music Device of 21st Century

In 2001, Apple Inc. launched portable media players of 21st century with a brand of iPod. The new range of iPod presents iPod classic which is hard drive based, iPod touch with a touch screen, iPod nano with video display and screenless iPod shuffle. Apart from them, the classic range of iPod includes iPod mini and iPod photo.

These digital music players can be used as external data storage devices but their capacities vary for each model. Music is transferred to the device with the help of iTunes software by Apple Inc. One can store music collection, and also play, tingle or split music from a CD with this software. In addition to that, photos, games, videos and calendars can also be transferred to the iPods that support such features. Apple`s iPods are easy to use.

iPod has created a history by selling 110 million units worldwide since September 2007. Apple`s CEO, Steve Jobs, decided to develop portable music device which is easy to use. He collected his team of hardware and software engineers and launched the product on October 23, 2001. This digital device used to have 5GB hard drive with a capacity to store at least 1000 songs. Apple took Portal Player`s and Pixo`s support to develop this product. Later Apple continued to develop refined versions of iPod.

iPods have the ability to display many audio file formats like MP3, Protected AAC, Audible audiobook, etc. whereas, file formats like JPEG, BMP, GIF, TIFF and PNG can be viewed with iPod photo. Similarly, upgraded versions of iPods can play the most advanced file formats. Though Apple doesn`t support Microsoft WMA format, but a converter for Window`s version of iTunes is provided for the same. When an iPod is associated with a computer, music libraries or playlists are synchronized manually or automatically with iTunes. 5G iPods come with click wheel to control the volume and 5 buttons which are used to play, stop, and go to next track, etc.

In order to provide songs for iPods, Apple launched an iTunes Store which can be accessed through iTunes. Rate per song varies from country to country. Buyer can purchase as many songs as he wants and enjoy the protected content. This Store became extremely successful immediately after its launch and then Apple made videos also available for sale in 2006. The purchased songs were downloaded with added encryption of AAC format as FairPlay DRM system. Later, DRM was made free in order to cease the manufacturing of pirated CDs.

In 2007, Apple reduced its rates for iTunes Plus songs and also of DRM coded tracks. Since iPod doesn`t play songs from its rival DRM technologies, it has bounded it`s user to iTunes Store only. With this Apple made limited profit, but later it enables to play music from online stores like eMusic or Amie Street. In 2007, Apple launched iTunes WiFi Music Store that enables a user to download songs from his iPhone or iPod. The downloaded media from iTunes Stores is transferred from iPods to computer with the help of software called iTunes 7 or above.

The sound quality on iPod can be enhanced with the equalizer, but one should keep in mind that high volume can cause bass distortion. The use of hardware in iPods like microcontroller, batteries, Audio chips etc. exclusively depend on the version of iPods. Upgraded iPods are available with more advanced technology. These days lots of accessories are marketed for iPods not only by Apple but also by other parties too. These accessories may enable a user to have FM radio tuners, wired remote controls etc.

iPods have marked their importance in the field of Education also, as it enables the user to download information, lesson plans etc. Apple is continuously working to bring upgrade versions of iPods.

How to use your iPod as a Hard drive

Belkin says that its Laptop Cooling Pad uses no more than 5% of a laptop’s battery

But sometimes that innovative spirit has been a detriment. Last year, Asustek issued a new version of its Eee on average every six weeks, which analysts said confused consumers.

“We might have offered too many models because of our competitive engineering culture,” Mr. Shih said, adding that the company won’t repeat this mistake. This year, Asustek plans to release three new versions.

When closed, the $20 Kensington LiftOff Portable Notebook Cooling Stand (Kensington.com) resembles a one-inch thick plastic briefcase with handles. Once the stand is opened, one piece lies flat while the other piece is raised to one of two heights, elevating the laptop. The top raised piece supports the laptop and has a hole in the center, designed to allow air to pass under the laptop, thus cooling it off without a fan. However, this no-fan method left my lap feeling a bit warm. When you’re done with the Kensington LiftOff, you can close it shut and carry it using its built-in handles. But its plastic parts felt flimsy and unstable, especially compared with the Belkin Laptop Cooling Lounge.

At an event this month, Acer unveiled a new line of notebooks, including a series of ultra-thin laptops called Acer Aspire Timeline, for which prices will start at $799. The new PCs use a low-voltage Intel Corp. processor that enables eight hours of HP DV8300 battery life.

Second, for all its thinness, the Adamo is relatively heavy. It weighs four pounds, versus three pounds for the Air.

Finally, it has mediocre Sony VGP-BPL4 life. In my tough battery test, where I turn off all power-saving features, leave on Wi-Fi, and play an endless loop of music, the Adamo got just 2 hours and 44 minutes, which likely translates in normal use to maybe 3.5 hours. By contrast, the Air lasted 40 minutes longer in the same test, and the Lenovo beat the Dell by 21 minutes.

The Eee was born of similar thinking. Although the idea seems simple — strip down a laptop and keep the price low — Mr. Shih said the company spent time trying to make sure it did many of the things consumers wanted. The machine starts quickly, it easily connects to the Internet and the battery lasts a long time.

Belkin’s $30 Laptop Cooling Pad (Belkin.com) reminded me of Microsoft’s offering in shape and size. Both are square, unlike the rectangular Logitech tray, and both have flip-out stands and a wave-like shape that leaves open space under the laptop. Belkin says that its Laptop Cooling Pad uses no more than 5% of a laptop’s battery. But the Belkin fan was slightly louder than Microsoft’s and considerably louder than Logitech’s. It also seemed to be a bit stronger, blowing more air than the others.

That’s luring consumers like Arun Ravindran, an information-technology consultant from Irvine, Calif., who had been using a desktop PC he built from components. “I always wanted a really small laptop that’s easy to carry around,” he says, but the offerings from companies like Sony Inc. were too expensive at $1,000 or more.

Like the Air and the ThinkPad 300 series, the Adamo uses a screen that’s about 13 inches, with good resolution. And, like its two competitors, it’s very thin. In fact, the Adamo is thinner than the tapered Air at the latter’s thickest point. The Adamo also has a far better selection of built-in ports than its Apple rival, though almost all are inconveniently placed in a Sony VGP-BPL2C protruding strip at the back of the machine.

Asustek started in 1989, when Mr. Shih and other top engineers left Acer and began building motherboards, the cards that hold microprocessors and other electronics in PCs. It remained a component supplier until 1997, when it launched its first Asus branded notebook.

Both the new iPhone and iPhone OS are packed with features that make a great product even better. But, for many users, the software may be enough of a boost to keep them from buying the new model.

Microsoft’s $30 Notebook Cooling Base (Microsoft.com/hardware) will come in white and black when it’s available early this summer (Amazon is accepting orders now). Compared with the Logitech, its fan was a little noisy. But the Microsoft tray was considerably smaller and thinner, making it more portable.

Iphone Screen Replacement Parts

Can I get a replacement iPhone?

My iPhone has many defects -
-Many visible colored pixels
-Home button stuck in/doesnt work
-Sound buttons seem hard to push in
-Sometimes the volume shoots up, and I immediately force the iPhone away from my ear [Ill get on more of that later]

And some other minor things, due to the latter – one time when the volume shot up to a 100% I immediatly got the iphone away from my ear as a rwxtion and it caused the screen to crack at the top right corner.

Will they cover this? Technically the Volume part was a hardware problem that was there fault. The iPhone broke due to that.

Thank you ^^
I said the volume is what made me remove the iphone quickly from my ear – thus breaking it when it hit the floor.
Sorry Sam, but I am not an idiot – I know it would not break the iPhone

I have warranty, I bought the phone around February.
I do not have insurance, as I did not know where to get insurance nor was I offered insurance.

If you crack the screen, it will be covered in insurance
