Step 1: Import DVD files
There are four methods for you load DVD files. Click “Add” icon, you can directly import DVD folder. Or Click green arrow next to “Add” icon, you can import DVD files from a drop-down list: Load DVD Folder, Load IFO File or E:.
Step 2: Output Settings
You can set the output settings for the selected file in the following area.
Click “Settings” button, you can do the advanced video and audio settings. Video encoding settings include video resolution, frame rate, encoder, and bit rate. And audio encoding settings include sample rate, channel, encoder and bit rate.
Step 3: Start to Convert
When all the necessary settings and editing are set OK, just click the “Start” button to begin converting your DVD file.
You can check “Shut down your PC when conversion finished”, the software will automatically shut down your computer after the conversion is completed when you leave.
Check “Open output folder when conversion finished”, when the conversion is completed, the output folder will be opened automatically.
Finally, drag and drop your DVD video to your iTunes, then sync to your iPod or iPhone, so easy!
Part 2: How to Edit, Crop, Effect, Trim DVD movie, and take snapshots for Windows?
1. Trim DVD Title or Chapter
Select any clips of DVD chapter or title which you like most. You can set start/end time by clicking the up-down arrow in the Set start/end time box and click OK. Alternatively, you can also trim video by click left bracket to set the start time and right bracket to set the end time where the DVD is playing. Click arrow-brackets, you can preview your trimmed video clip at the starting time.
2. Crop DVD movie
Crop feature enables you to cut out the unwanted video area, like black sides. Select an output aspect ratio from the Zoom list. Four choices available: Original, Full screen, 16:9 and 4:3. Click reset button to cancel the schedule as necessary. You can directly drop and drag the dashed line to crop. Alternatively, if want more exact, you can type the values into the crop window: Up, Down, Left and right.
3. Adjust Video Effects
Customize your personality DVD video. Adjust video brightness, contrast or saturation. You can select special effects from the drop-down mean including gray, emboss or old film effect. If want more fun, you can set horizontal or vertical turning.
4. Take Video Snapshots
On the right area of the main interface, you can preview the DVD movie with a simple player. You are allowed to take snapshots of the playing video while previewing with camera icon. Click green folder icon to open the snapshot folder. You can also specify the snapshot save path by click “Option” button. The captured video pictures can be saved as jpeg, bmp, or png format.

IPod Mini Battery Problems?
I have an ipod mini and it’s three years old.
My first problem is that my ipod only plays for about 3 minutes when not connected to my charger.
2. When the IPod runs out of battery, instead of just shutting off, it shows the apple logo, then it disappears and then the apple logo shows up again. This cycle continues unless I hook it up to the charger. I swear my IPod is like dependent on my charger.
3. When I try to hook my IPod up to the computer to update it, nothing happens. I see the battery charging symbol and it is still. This happens EVERY time I try to sync my IPod.
4. When my Ipod WAS cooperating a while ago, when I removed it from the charger, the battery meter in the corner acted like it was still charging.
Note: When I try to restart my ipod by pressing the menu button and the middle button, the screen goes blank and then it shows the battery charging symbol. It doesn’t show the usual apple logo.
Um… you should really consider getting a new iPod because Apple won’t do anything about that. One thing you could do is try getting the battery replaced. (but I doubt that they still make batteries for the mini, and it’s gonna cost money and you’ll have to pay for shipping too.)

Get the newest version of iTunes and iPod software @

Then open iTunes and go to the iPod window (listed on the left with your iPod’s name) and click on the “Restore” button to restore factory settings. The iPod will be erased and then iTunes will ask, then sync your library with your iPod.

You can connect your ipod to itunes installed on your pc, then go to itunes, sync ipod classic to itunes, go in itunes store. Then you will be able to download games for ipod classic from there. Otherwise, There is no way to install games without jailbreaking it.

1. Connect your iPod (5g or 5.5g video) to your computer
2. Go to the ipod drive and open the folder called iPod_Contro example: G: Name deiPod / iPod_Control if your system has NO habitability Show hidden files all with the intent to make them visible.
3. Drag the folder called Games_RO to iPod_Control
PART 2 –
1. Open iPodWizard
2. Load your iPod firware using the button to the left corner of the top
3. Click on the tab “Updater”
4. click on the top of the page and click ‘Extract Firmware Binary from your iPod’ and save it where you know and what you can find
this is with the intention of having it as a backup (backup)
5. Now in the top right corner go to Edit Mode and select “Firmware File” and click on Open firmware file and loads games from your ipod. (5GFirware.bin or 5.5GFirware.bin)

They say that disco is dead, I say it has been reinvented. Saturday night fever may not be high on the agenda, but all that is disco is back on the club scene and the folks are funking it up in a multi decade mash-up. The eclectic taste of the I pod generation covers everything from James Brown to Britney Spears, with a liberal dose of Debbie Harry and Liberty X. The rules are out of the window, like the veritable rock n roll TV leaving a 5th floor hotel room.
One of the oddest reinventions of the new disco generation is the introduction of headphones in the club. I’ve also heard a rumour that this has been happening at festivals across the country. To combat noise complaints and yet keep the little pixies dancing all night long, wireless headphones are being used as part of the PA system. I can’t quite comprehend how odd it would be to walk in to a dance tent or nightclub, with thousands of people quietly raving. It is a surreal notion, and one that requires a bit of contemplation. Surely its failure would lie in all those folks singing along. What is going to keep them quiet? Sure, it’s not going to be anywhere near as loud as a 35k rig, but it’s going to be a cacophony of wailing cat noises and people still screaming at their mate asking if they want a pint.
The quality of such a system can’t be up to much either. One of the greatest things about going to a really loud rave is the feeling of the bass travelling through your body. Standing in front of the speakers and feeling the air moving with the sound waves, rumbling through, from your toes to your nose. That experience is not going to happen from a pair of headphones. Maybe they have air blasting speaker simulation systems and an earthquake machine or something. Ah, as long as the music is good, the people will dance.
I’m more of a trad disco girl myself, a bit of Jackson 5 or the Bee Gees; a dance floor that is lit up like Manhattan with a liberal injection of dry ice and the obligatory disco ball keep me a happy little dancing bunny. Although I really don’t want to take part in the weird wireless disco vibe, I’m ready to make a move toward the new days of disco. I was miffed enough as it was when CD decks took over from vinyl, and all my DJ friends were up in arms at bedroom DJ’s making up disks and just ‘sticking them on’. The move from vinyl to CD seemed to somehow be cheating at being a DJ as far as the professionals were concerned. I thought it gave other people a chance to play their music, and is surely less painful than carting a flight case of vinyl around the place!
However, the iPod disco babies have another trick up their sleeve, a DJ-less club night. The new style disco nights consists of anyone in the club plugging in their iPod for 3 songs, any songs, and cutting out the mix master altogether. Hang the DJ or what! This is not a good move; the jockey of discdom provides a seasoned and reasoned entertainment service. As a selector of tunes, the DJ seamlessly spins one tune into another, judging the mood of the crowd and dancing them into a crescendo. A spotty Herbert with iPod can’t match that, but an old bloke called DJ Derek can. I was fortunate enough o watch his set at a festival recently and there he was, 75 years old, with his iPod plugged in to the PA and he has the whole crowd grooving to the funkiest tunes this side of the 70s. Goes to show that a good workman doesn’t have to blame his tools – Hail DJ Derek and the return of the Disco Days!
