Sony NW-A608 MP3 Player?
Does this player restart from where it is in a track when it is turned off or not? I intend to buy one for use with e-books and podcasts, so I don’t want an MP3 player which resets the track back to the start when it is switched off.

Why does Sansa c240 refresh every time it is turned on?
I recently bought a Sansa c240 “Lil Monsta” MP3 player and I seem to be having a problem with it, although the gal at Best Buy said it was normal…
Each and every time I turn it on when I have my micro-SD card inserted, it comes up with a screen stating that it is refreshing the library and it takes at least 2 minutes before any songs will play.
I need to know if this is normal for this device or if I need to call Sandisk customer service to have it replaced.
How exactly do I change the USB setting to MTP?
its normal.
It needs minutes to read all the songs so it plays them.

Every time i try to upload a video on my sandisk e200 the sansa media converter program crashes. any advice??
i have the sandisk sansa e270R. and the program came with mp3 player when i bought it. The program is called sansa media converter. i get the videos in there easily but when i hit the upload button it crashes with that little window that says the sansa media converter has encountered a problem and needs to close. i dont know what to do. i have tried it a million times
Are you adding a couple videos on it at one time? Try doing it one by one. Or it can be because all those videos won’t fit on the player. The upload button is the convert button. When converting videos on it, only have the Sansa Media Converter opened, close Internet Explore, WMP, etc. Or it can be because your computer doesn’t have enough disc space(? forgot what it’s called).
Try updating the firmware on the player. http://www.sandisk.com/Retail/Default.aspx?CatID=1376
Also try formatting it. To format… Connect the player. Go to My Computer. Right click on your sansa. Drop down to format.
If none of those work, troubleshoot with sandisk. Drop them an email and ask for them to solve the problem. support@sandisk.com

If so, how much does it cost. And i’m not asking for Pandora or Last.fm, because i DON’T have internet. If there is, what is the app called?
The iPod Touch doesn’t have the hardware to pick up an FM frequency. That aside, you won’t find it very useful without wi-fi.

i have plugged it into my new laptop and i dont have disc for it…it detects it but only asks if i want to import pics from it….b ut i want to put more music on it and the menu type page doesn’t appear for me to choose which action i ant to take…anyone have any i deas?please
you should be able to use windows media player just open it up or just download the walkman media manager from sony’s site

i just bought a sansa sandisk mp3 player e200 with 2 gb but my computer doesn;t recognize the hardware?
oh and i tried installing the cd but there is nothing to install it only allows me to download rhapsody from the cd and theres a user manual with the cd but it wont let me install any software and i can;t download any songs onto it until my computer recognizes the device please help

I am searching for a Sony Walkman E MP3 player, and their price is much cheaper than other dealers, but it comes from the US. Are they reliable?
