Whenever I try to upload songs on my IPOD Mini the following appears:?
“use the IPOD software updater application to restore the IPOD to factory settings”. Where do I get the software?

Get the newest version of iTunes and iPod software @

Then open iTunes and go to the iPod window (listed on the left with your iPod’s name) and click on the “Restore” button to restore factory settings. The iPod will be erased and then iTunes will ask, then sync your library with your iPod.

Zune does not support AVI i guess, so how do i convert them to something else? MPEG-4 media file (MP4) or MPEG-4 Video file (MPV)? Or can someone tell me what i need to do at all?

Where in the iPhone system directory are high score data files stored?
I’m trying to track down where the Dactyl app stores its high scores. Any ideas?
The apps themselves are often unix packages which can be opened as folders then the scores are oten inside them.along wiht other settings files..
right click to see if you can ‘view contents’ but often this will only function properly on unix based systems as windows likley to corrupt the entire apps.

Should I use Windows XP, Vista, or Windows 7 for the following computers:?
I am a proficient user at all three OS’s…so i have no particular preference. Here are the specs.
COMPUTER 1:
core i5 450M processor (2.4GHz)
4GB RAM
NVIDIA GeForce 330mGT (1GB)
COMPUTER 2:
Intel Core 2 Duo (2.0 GHz)
2Gb RAM
Intel GMA 4500 Graphics
I have the retail version of all 3 os’s (x86 and x64) and the drivers for everything.
For computer 1 i will be playing some games, school work, internet, zune, music, video editing, etc.
For computer 2, i will mainly be using the internet and word…low level!
What OS’s should i install. I have all versions in boht x86 and x64 and i do not care if one system has XP/vista/7 and the other one doesn’t. They can be different OS’s, do NOT take this into consideration.

Microsoft no longer sells and will soon stop support for both XP and Vista. Hardware vendors are no longer supporting XP, and much of the new hardware lacks XP drivers. Software vendors are also ending support for both XP and Vista. Within another year, good luck finding anything new that will work on either.
Both PCs are more that able to run Windows 7. Go that route. It will save you having to redo the computer a year from now when your Vista and XP are no longer usable.
